Creating a Smart Campaign using Buyer Discovery intent signals
In Marketo, you can create a Smart Campaign Based on Buyer Discovery intent signals, in order to increase a Person Score, add them to an email Campaign, or many more use cases.
Prerequisites
- Buyer Discovery for Marketo integration installed successfully in the Marketo instance
Smart Campaign setup instructions
Here are the steps:
1. Log into your Marketo account, and go to the Marketing Activities
2. In the Marketing Activities tab, click on the New button, then click on Smart Campaign
3. In the Smart Campaign pop up, select a Folder for the Smart Campaign, name the Smart Campaign, and click Create
4. In your newly created Smart Campaign, click on the Smart List tab
5. In the Smart List tab, on the right-side search panel, search for "Purchase Intent", locate the Purchase Intent custom field, and drag it to the left side main pane.
6. In the purchase intent trigger dropdown for field value, select Very High
7. Click on the Flow tab
8. In the Flow tab, drag over the options Send Email as well as Change Score
9. Select the email template you would like to use for the Send Email action, and set the Person Score to Change to +20
10. Click on Schedule
11. On the Schedule tab, click on Schedule recurrence, and in the pop up set the frequency to Daily:
12. Once the Campaign has run, you can check the performance on the Results tab
