Updating a Salesforce Filter that was created before May 13, 2024

Updating your auto-created Salesforce Segment


In May 2024 we introduced a new way to save filters within the Data Insights WebApp called Segments.  From time to time you may want to update these filters to stay inline with your company's priorities and Ideal Customer Profile.  If you created your Salesforce export prior to May 13, 2024 and you want to change your filter criteria, you will need to follow a different workflow to update these filters now that we've introduced Segments.


Instructions to update your auto-created Salesforce Segment


Step 1: Log into your DI WebApp.


Step 2: Navigate to the Segments tab where you will see a segment called [Your Product Name] Salesforce or [Your Product Name] Default Segment

  • If you see both Segment options, select the Segment with Salesforce in the name.  

Note: "B2B Intent" is an example product.

Step 3: Select your updated filter criteria in the Filter column.  Select Save Segment.

Note: The next time your sync runs we will only pass over company prospects that fit your updated filter criteria.
