Troubleshooting refreshing a sync between Buyer Discovery and Salesforce

Sometimes, various updates on the Buyer Discovery back end or your Salesforce org back end may stop the syncing of Buyer Discovery records in your Salesforce Org. This would be noticeable if ever the Buyer Discovery records, ordered by the Latest Update column Descending, are showing a latest update date that is older than 3 days.

To restart the sync between Buyer Discovery and Salesforce, and have Buyer Discovery records flowing into Salesforce on a regular frequency again, it is recommended that users first check the Last Batch Sync date field on the Master Product object to the latest date and time, and then in the Buyer Discovery app in Salesforce, click edit, then Validate & Save.

Here are the steps in detail:

Updating the Last Batch Sync field

In your Salesforce account where Buyer Discovery is installed, Click on the App Launcher icon, and search and select the Buyer Discovery app

Among the horizontal Tabs, locate and click the Master Product tab.

In the Master Product records list, locate and click on the record of the product that is not syncing.

In the Master Product record, find, the Last Batch Sync date, and update it to the current date and time, and click Save

Now, we can go back to the Buyer Discovery app and click on the Setup tab

In the Setup tab, we can click, Edit, and then click Validate and Save

With this, your Buyer Discovery for Salesforce integration should begin a fresh sync, and continue syncing daily!
