Introduction
If users would like to set up their own integration to a third party system, Buyer Discovery has a set of APIs that can be used to accomplish this.
Using the Buyer Discovery APIs, users can create an integration to an unsupported CRM/Marketing Automation system, generate tailored alerts, and conduct the most thorough analysis of the Company prospects intent data.
Here are the steps for integration:
1. Go into the Buyer Discovery web app and under Exports List, click Add, and Select API
2. Set any filters and click Save
3. Click on Instructions
4. Click on API Access
5. Go to Authentication and after clicking try out, use the client Secret and Client ID to get an authentication token
6. Click Authorize and put in Bearer and the authentication token
7. Go to the data API and click try out, and use the Export ID from the instructions by going to the Buyer Discovery API Instructions pop up and clicking Copy Filter Token
After this, the API call will provide all of the company prospects and their firmographics in JSON format for the selected product. Same Export ID can be used for the other API calls for intent signals and session details.
These steps can be replicated in a script that then interfaces with other APIs to create a fully customized integration to Buyer Discovery.
